They appear when blood vessels become enlarged which cause the veins to appear damaged/broken. The medical term for them is telangiectasia
How long does the treatment take?
At Skin beautiful we use laser to treat the complete area in only a matter of minutes, depending on the amount being removed. Some veins may need a second or third treatment but are normally gone on the first visit (client dependent).
What’s the downtime?
As healthy skin and tissues are unaffected by vascular laser treatments, there is no downtime so you can return to regular activities straight after treatment.

Can you get rid of red capillaries on face?
The laser sends light energy at an incredibly high speed. This light is absorbed by melanin in the hair follicle. This results in the hair follicle overheating and damages the hair bulb. This stops the hair regrowing. This treatment also has the added benefit of rejuvenating your skin leaving it feeling smoother.
What is the difference between spider veins and spider angiomas?

Treatment is safe and is suitable for skin types 1 to 5 so it’s suitable for anyone with these skin types looking for silky smooth results. The laser light is directed to the pigment of the hair follicle, the only consideration is whether your unwanted hair has enough pigment to be treated. Darker hair is the most suitable. We will discuss this with you at your consultation.
